Bio: Received anal cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) diagnosis three years ago. Fortunately, for me: stage 1. I acted on very few, very mild symptoms and the brilliant British NHS did the rest. Treatment survived. Adapting still to effects of radiation.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Each round of chemo consists of 3 weeks. Week 1 I get an Oxaliplatin infusion, weeks 2 & 3 I take oral chemo, Xeloda. Side effects are nerve pain (thanks I already had that), hand pain, fatigue, weakness, memory loss, confusion at times. Bla Bla Bla

Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma Grade 3, can hardly say it, and sure can't spell it without looking it up!
Brain Cancer Symptoms: Headache for 2 months straight. No other symptoms, so no-one wanted to do any scans to double check anything was in there that shouldn't be, until I went to the right hospital ER.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Surgery on 9/9/16, no side affects except numb and itchy incision site
